Valuation is a subject primarily with in the domain of economics, law and engineering, whereas most of the practicing valuers of today have more or less stumbled in to the profession accidentally after retirement from active engineering services. Most have an engineering background. Only few, if any, have learnt the subject of valuation and studied the valuation theory in addition to engineering. And perhaps this is the reason they are not able to appreciate the impact of macroeconomic indicators, tenure security and black money on the value of the asset. ABOUT THE CHIEF VALUER

The Chief Valuer of the firm, Er. Bhupendra Pratap Singh, a government approved valuer, is a techno financial valuation professional with a rare experience of working with government as well as private sector organizations engaged in valuation. Mr. Singh did his undergraduate work in Civil Engineering from the Institution of Engineers (India), Calcutta. He worked as Civil Engineer with Government of India (CPWD) and as Technical Officer with U P Financial Corporation in government sector and as Director (Technical) with a consulting firm in private sector. His main research interest is on the impact of black money on the value of real estate and has authored research paper and article on the subject for professional journal Indian Valuer and The Indian Express. He has been quoted by the reputed print and electronic media (The Hindustan Times Indian Express, CNBC, Zee Business, Sahara, ABP News, Star News & India News) on valuation matters. He was also visiting faculty on Real Estate Valuation with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. . As valuation is a subject within the domain of engineering, law and economics, he has done MBA (Real Estate), a management program run by School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi in collaboration with Guru Gobind Gingh Indra Prastha University, Delhi, to upgrade his valuation skills by studying law and economics in addition to his engineering qualification. He is also a Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers (India) , Fellow of the Institution of Valuers, India and an eminent professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
